REGINA, SK – Battlefords North Stars netminder Justen Maric was brilliant when he needed to be and solid when he needed to be, as his club rolled over the Notre Dame Hounds 6-1 in his return to the Black and Silver.

His 32 saves and Anthony Campbell’s two goals led the way for the Battlefords in Wilcox.

In Estevan, Yorkton rookie goaltender Callum Creig made 23 stops for his first career junior shutout, and the Terriers left Affinity Place with a 3-0 road win over the Bruins.

Finally, in Nipawin, the Red Wings got a hat trick and four points from Lucas Schmid as Weyburn dominated the Hawks 9-1 to extend their win streak to a season league-high five games.
