Melville rookie goaltender Colby Entz made 31 saves for his first SJHL shutout, as the Millionaires blanked the Notre Dame Hounds 3-0, for their first win since before the break.

Keegan Milligan (1g-1a), Tucker Scantlebury and Cory Schillo did the scoring for the Millionaires (15-19-2-0), who now sit just one point out of a playoff spot.

Riley Higdon stopped 30/33 shots in goal for the Hounds (15-15-3-1).

The Melfort Mustangs scored four first period goals, on their way to an 8-3 win over the visiting Yorkton Terriers.

Matthew Hermary and Reed Gunville each had two goals and an assist for the Mustangs (16-16-2-4) and Tanner Zentner added a goal and two assists.  Melfort’s now just one point back of Weyburn for 6th place overall, getting back to the .500 mark.

Also scoring in Wednesday win was Andrew Thompson (1g-1a), Justin Ball (1g-1a), and Lucas Fraulin.  Derek Hucul made 32/35 saves.

Dexter Robinson (1g-1a), Corwin Stevely and Jared Legien replied for the Terriers (17-18-3-0).
