REGINA, SK – Rylan Williams jammed in the winner 34 seconds into the extra frame Sunday as his Estevan Bruins rallied to edge the La Ronge Ice Wolves 3-2 in overtime.
Williams’ 13 points to date lead the league through only eight games played.
It was the second overtime game of the weekend between the two clubs, with the Ice Wolves pulling out the victory Saturday.
Graham Brown was excellent in defeat for La Ronge, stopping 43 Estevan shots, while new Bruin Nathan Kam was solid in making 37 saves in his debut.
