Wings rally past Hawks to climb into first

REGINA, SK – Josh Karman and Aidan Mohan scored 40 seconds apart with just under six minutes remaining in regulation, and Will Munro added the winner four minutes after that to hand the Weyburn Red Wings a 4-2 win over the Nipawin Hawks Wednesday.

The victory propelled Weyburn into first place in the league past idle Flin Flon.

Gage Roberts made 32 stops in defeat, while Nate Stevens won his seventh start in nine games in the Wings’ net.

The contest at the Cage was the only game in the league on Wednesday.
