REGINA, SK – The Weyburn Red Wings got goals from four different scorers, and 41 saves from Dazza Mitchell as they downed the Flin Flon Bombers 4-1 to sweep a weekend set up at the Whitney Forum

Weyburn’s win streak extends the league season-high to seven contests.

In Melville, the Millionaires were led by two goals and an assist from captain Caden Drury and took a wild back-and-forth contest with their Highway 10 rival Yorkton Terriers by the score of 6-4.

Boris Kofman’s power-play goal 1:23 into the third period was enough to earn rookie Brady Holtvogt his first career win and shutout as the Humboldt Broncos edged the La Ronge Ice Wolves 1-0 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

Finally, in Nipawin, the Melfort Mustangs were led from the back end by Ty Thornton’s two goals and cruised to a 6-2 win over the Hawks.

Highlights, presented by Chevrolet, are to come tomorrow.
