REGINA, SK – Warman Wolverines captain and defenceman Vincent Palmarin has committed to the University of Calgary of USports for the 2026-27 CanadaWest Campaign.
Palmarin, 20, played 144 games in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) for the Notre Dame Hounds and Wolverines between 2022 and 2026.
He scored 22 goals and added 88 assists over that span.
“Vincent is the definition of a hockey player,” said Warman head coach and general manager Brett Pilkington.
“He puts in the time daily to be the best version of himself. He leads from the front and is willing to take on anything for the betterment of the group.”
A native of Wilcox, SK, Palmarin played in 12 Canadian Hockey League games for the Prince Albert Raiders and Gatineau Olympiques.
He won the Saskatchewan U18AAA championship in 2022 with the Notre Dame Hounds U18 and also spent time with the Victoria Grizzlies of the British Columbia Hockey League.
As the first-ever captain in the history of the Wolverines, he scored eight goals and 44 points in 45 games this past season.
SJHL alums Tre Fouquette (Nipawin), Ranon Joseph (Nipawin), and Davis Fry (Melville) featured for the Calgary Dinos last season.
