We are nearing the conclusion of the exhibition season in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and the regular season is just 8 days away.
Our look around the league continues with a focus on the La Ronge Ice Wolves.
It was another year of growth for the La Ronge Ice Wolves organization, finishing 5th in the SJHL standings with a 32-19-3-2 record. Unfortunately for the Wolves, they were unable to get out of the first round of the playoffs, losing in 6 games to the Melfort Mustangs.
However, with a strong group of returning players, there is plenty of optimism that the Ice Wolves can be one of the top teams in the SJHL in the 23/24 season.
SJHL Director of Media Jeromy Corrigan caught up with Head Coach and General Manager of the Ice Wolves Kevin Kaminski to get his thoughts on the upcoming season for his club.
