Key Responsibilities

  • Game Day Marketing: Coordinate in-arena promotions, fan engagement activities, intermission features, and sponsor activations that enhance the overall game day experience.
  • Social Media and Content: Capture behind-the-scenes moments, player features, community events, and real-time game updates for use across digital platforms.
  • Community Engagement: Support grassroots initiatives, partnerships, school programs, community appearances, and other outreach activities.
  • Sponsorship Support: Help ensure sponsor assets are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with partner expectations and team brand standards.
  • Creative Production: Develop graphics, hype videos, promotional materials, and other creative assets that reflect the Humboldt Broncos’ identity.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track campaign performance, fan engagement metrics, and game day attendance trends to support ongoing marketing decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Marketing or Sport Management Education: Diploma or degree in marketing, communications, sport management, or a related field.
  • Digital and Creative Skills: Experience with social media platforms, analytics tools, and design platforms such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to write clearly, creatively, and in a tone that resonates with hockey fans and community audiences.
  • Event Coordination: Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and game nights as required by the hockey schedule.

Role Summary

The Humboldt Broncos are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks, payment processing, invoicing, and routine bookkeeping activities. This role is well suited to a self-motivated professional who can work independently, maintain organized records, and support month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks, including data entry and chart of accounts upkeep.
  • Process accounts receivable, including creating and sending invoices and following up on past-due accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable by entering bills, scheduling payments, and processing approved payments.
  • Complete regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end reports and assist with month-end close activities.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and tax preparation, including organizing receipts and supporting records.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of bookkeeping experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing and payment processing workflows.

Kindersley Klippers Assistant Coach

The Kindersley Klippers are currently seeking to hire two Assistant Coaches. One position will serve strictly with the Klippers, while the second will take on a dual role as both an Assistant Coach with the Klippers and Head Coach of the West Central Wheat Kings U15.

Position: Assistant Coach – Kindersley Klippers

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Coach in the planning and execution of all team practices, games, and training sessions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing team systems, strategies, and game plans.
  • Provide on-ice instruction and skill development for players, including individual and small-group coaching.
  • Analyze team and player performance through video review and statistical evaluation.
  • Contribute to pre-scouting reports and opponent analysis to prepare for upcoming games.
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-first culture aligned with the organization’s values.
  • Assist in player evaluation and recruitment, including scouting and talent identification.
  • Help monitor player fitness, conditioning, and overall well-being throughout the season.
  • Communicate effectively with players regarding expectations, feedback, and development goals.
  • Support administrative duties such as practice planning and travel logistics as needed.
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner within the community, including team events and outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to league rules, team policies, and safety standards at all times.
  • Serve as the Lead Instructor for the Klippers Academy.
  • Assist in the coordination, logistics, and execution of Klippers Hockey School, Spring/Fall Camp, and other events as assigned.

Dual Role Opportunity: Assistant Coach (Klippers) / Head Coach – West Central Wheat Kings U15AA

Roles and Responsibilities – U15AA Head Coach

  • Work with the WCWK Board of Directors on an as-needed basis to maintain development programs for U15-aged players.
  • Attend the U15 Fall Evaluations and continue to evaluate through team selection.
  • Prepare and deliver a season plan, including off-ice requirements, practice plans, and lineups.
  • Select qualified assistant coaches, manager, and other personnel as needed.
  • Attend the U15AA scheduling meeting in the fall for the WCWK U15AA season.
  • Attend WCWK Coaches’ Meetings as required.
  • Develop an ongoing program that provides a consistent experience for players and parents.
  • Liaise with other AA coaches in the association to support long-term program development.
  • Assist in fall development camps as required.

Additional Requirements

  • High Performance 1 certification or actively working toward attaining it.
  • Respect in Sport (online course).
  • Coaching and playing experience is considered an asset.
  • Checking Certification.
  • Goalie Coach Certification (or Assistant).
  • Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Valid driver’s license.
