Kindersley Klippers - Assistant Coach

The Kindersley Klippers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) are accepting applications for a new assistant coach.
Duties:
- Assisting the Head Coach, as directed, with coaching, recruiting, practice scheduling, planning, management, and games
- Video editing for players for player development
- Providing all assisting of coaching in games and practices
- Planning, implementing, and controlling pre-game preparation with the team
- Providing leadership, commitment, and passion for our players, fans, and community
- Leading and running team off-ice development
- Working with the players on individual skills
- Assisting with current players to move on to the collegiate level
- Organizing travel/meals for road trips
- Hockey Academy organization
The incumbent is responsible for attending all practices and games, teaching and competing with a professional demeanor conducive to the development of our players. Also performing other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Collegiate or junior playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Strong leadership and disciplinary skills
- Knowledge of game theory and concepts of systems and special teams play
- Excellent communication skills

Weyburn Red Wings - Assistant Coach

The Weyburn Red Wings are currently seeking an Assistant Coach for the 2025/26 SJHL Season. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills, and hockey knowledge to assist the Head Coach and General Manager.
Responsibilities:
● Assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the Hockey Operations including practices, and personnel decisions.
● Providing leadership, commitment and passion for our players, fans, and community
● All aspects of coaching and administration of a CJHL junior A hockey program
● Recruiting & identifying future Red Wings
● Assisting with current players to move on to the collegiate level
● Working with the players on individual skills
● Organizing travel/meal plans for road trips
● Monitor and support individual development plans (IDPs).
● Conduct video analysis with players individually and as a team
● Build and maintain relationships with u18 coaches, prep school, and high school coaches.
● Experience in building strong relationships with players, staff, parents, and community members.
● Assist in player evaluations during training camp and throughout the season.
● Promote a strong, positive culture in the locker room and within the organization.
● Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Qualifications:
● Playing or coaching experience at the Junior A level or higher is considered an asset.
● Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, High Performance 1 certification, Respect in Sport.
● Effective organizational and time management skills
● Excellent communication skills
● Provide a criminal record check
● Ability & desire to work long hours, evenings, weekends & holidays as necessary

The Kindersley Klippers are currently looking to fill the position of Athletic Therapist/ Equipment Manager for the remainder of the 2025-2026 hockey season and beyond.
Review Date: Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled
Salary: based on experience and certification
Description: The Athletic Therapist/Equipment Manager is responsible for the physical care of the athletes and maintenance of equipment. Certified Athletic Therapy (or related program) First Aid, and previous hockey experience would be an asset. This position requies non-standard hours.
The Athletic Therapist/ Equipment Manager will work under the direction of the Head Coach and assume duties as assigned by the Head Coach on a daily basis. Job duties shall include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Keep accurate records of all injuries, treatments and the rehabilitation schedule.
– Reports all injuries to the Head Coach/General Manager.
– Administer or arrange the therapy needs of all team members.
– Keep accurate records of all treatments.
– Determine the requirements for physiotherapy needs, equipment and supplies for the team.
– Control and distribute all therapy equipment and consumables.
– Work cooperatively with the Coaches, and accepts duties as assigned by the General Manager.
– Perform skate sharpening duties.
– Control, distribute and maintain inventory of all medical supplies and consumables.
– Ensure the dressing room is properly organized and assist co-ordination of cleaning daily.
– Meet visiting team’s needs on game days.
– Co-ordinate the ordering of medical supplies and consumables with the Head Coach/GM
– Be present on the bench and administers to all the players first aid needs during practices and games. Co-ordinate first responders’ policy and protocol for emergency situations.
– Be available for all off-ice sessions.
– Co-ordinate and complete daily laundry duties.
– Co-ordinate the maintenance and distribution of team equipment with the Head Coach/General Manager. Ensure equipment is repaired or replaced as needed.
– Other duties as assigned.
