SJHL releases 2025-26 regular season schedule

REGINA, SK—The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is pleased to announce the 2025-26 regular season schedule, which will begin Friday, Sept. 19, 2025.

Opening weekend features all 12 member teams in action, with 11 of the 12 holding their respective home openers on the 19th or 20th.

The Nipawin Hawks will play their first home game Sept. 26, when they will host the Flin Flon Bombers at the Centennial Arena.

“We have had a busy off-season in the SJHL, holding our annual general meeting, our scheduling meeting and our SJHL Draft,” said Commissioner Kyle McIntyre.

“We are 28 days away from puck drop, and we are excited to bring quality hockey to our fans, our communities, our players, and our many sponsors. Success starts here.”

The SJHL is split into three divisions for the 2025-26 season.

New this year is the inclusion of the Warman Wolverines, who replace the Notre Dame Hounds, and will open their campaign at home vs. the Humboldt Broncos on Sept. 19. Also making its debut is that the La Ronge Ice Wolves will be playing all their games at the Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre, where they will be relocating from the Mel Hegland Uniplex.

Through the SJHL partnership with FloHockey, every SJHL exhibition, regular season, and playoff game will be streamed online with play-by-play. Family, friends, fans, and scouts alike can watch the games live or on demand.

An event schedule announcement, key dates, and playoff format will be released in the coming weeks.

The SJHL will be western Canada’s premier junior “A” hockey league, known for its exceptional player development and commitment to its players, people, and the communities we serve.
