MIKE ESKRA, WEYBURN RED WINGS

1998 D Levi Kleiboer (Martensville SK) is in the midst of his second year with the North Stars and has set a career high already with 3-goals.  He has 19-points, which is two shy of what he accomplished last year.  Players born in 1998 or later have an advantage when it comes to making the team.

ADAM DAWE, NOTRE DAME HOUNDS
1999 F Adam Dawe (Gander NL) has been, arguably, the SJHL’s top rookie this season and is still midget eligible.  He may have the best shot of any SJHLer at making this club.  He’s fired 13-goals and 21-assists in just 24-games after putting up 2-points in 3-games last year as a 16-year-old AP.

KAELAN HOLT, ESTEVAN BRUINS
1997 F Kaelan Holt (Estevan SK) has been a fun player to watch for the hometown crowd, erupting for 16-goals in 25-games after seven in fifty last year as a rookie.

LAYNE YOUNG, BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS
1997 F Layne Young (Frenchman Butte SK) is one of the most dangerous offensive players in Junior ‘A’ hockey.  Young puts up numbers no matter where he plays.  He has 15-goals and 17-assists in 26-games.  The SJHL Rookie Of The Year in 2015-16, had 75-points in 56-games as a first year player.
