REGINA, SK – Nikita Ivashchenko led the way with a goal and two assists, and Justen Maric made 42 stops as the Battlefords North Stars scored a much-needed 4-1 victory over the Millionaires in Melville Tuesday.
In Wilcox, the Yorkton Terriers fought off a pesky Notre Dame Hounds squad by way of a Dustin Renas shootout winner to take the contest 4-3 and snap their mini three-game skid.
Finally, in La Ronge, Zane Norman’s second-period power-play marker was the game-winner as the Ice Wolves outlasted the Nipawin Hawks 3-1.
