The 12 teams in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League are now officially on their holiday break which means the return of the “12 Days of Christmas (break)” feature on SJHL.ca.
Over next 12 days, we will take an in-depth look at all 12 teams in the league, see how they have done so far this year, look at their team stats, and their remaining schedule in the 2nd half of the season.
Today (Monday, December 18th) we start the 12 Days of Christmas (break) with a look at the Notre Dame Hounds.
The Hounds currently sit 12th in the SJHL standings with an 8-23-1-0 record good for 17 points. Despite being last in the league going into the 2nd half of the year, the Hounds are just 9 points back of a playoff spot and will play a good portion of their remaining schedule at home.
The Notre Dame Hounds will return to the ice on Saturday, January 6th when they travel to Yorkton for a battle with the Terriers.
