On the 5th Day of Christmas (break) we focus on the defending Viterra division champion, Estevan Bruins.
The Bruins entered the holiday break with a 13-14-0-2 record which is good for 28 points and 8th in the SJHL (tied for 7th with Weyburn, but has played more games).
Inconsistency has plagued the Bruins so far this season. One week they will soar up the standings winning 2 or 3 games, and then the next week they will lose all of their games.
They are hoping in the new year they can find a better balance in their play and move up the standings.
The Bruins will return to the ice on January 5th when they head up Highway 39 to Weyburn for a battle with the Red Wings. The game will also be the SJHL Game of the Month on Sasktel MaxTV Local.
