Melfort Mustangs defenceman Nicholas Andrusiak has committed to the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings for the upcoming ACAC season.
Andrusiak joins the Kings after an accomplished junior hockey career highlighted by being named SJHL Defenceman of the Year and helping the Melfort Mustangs capture an SJHL Championship.
No stranger to Red Deer, Andrusiak previously suited up in the Western Hockey League (WHL), skating in 45 regular-season games with the Red Deer Rebels and another 30 games with the Saskatoon Blades. Before his time in the WHL, he logged 75 regular-season appearances with the Melville Millionaires.
Over the course of his junior career, Andrusiak played in 231 career games across the WHL and SJHL, recording 71 points.
