Bombers Bounce Back Sunday

The Flin Flon Bombers wrapped up 3 games in 3 days Sunday afternoon with a 4-1 win over the Humboldt Broncos.

Leading the way for the Bombers was forward Cole Duperreault who found the back of the net 3 times in the victory. Cory King was also solid for Flin Flon, registering a goal and an assist.

Harmon Laser-Hume stopped 25 of 26 shots in the win, which improves the Bombers record to 15-5-2-1 and moves them into a tie with the La Ronge Ice Wolves for top spot in the Sherwood division.

Xavier Roy had the lone goal for the Broncos Sunday afternoon as they fall to 15-7-1-0.

Monday will be an off night for the league, but action resumes on Tuesday with a pair of games. Kindersley will visit Yorkton and the Notre Dame Hounds will play host to the Weyburn Red Wings.
