Broncos Earn Weekend Sweep of Hounds

The Humboldt Broncos joined the Melfort Mustangs as the lone 2-0 hockey clubs in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Sunday in Wilcox as they doubled up the Notre Dame Hounds 6-3.

Humboldt had six different goal scorers and Benjamin Motew made 21 saves in the victory.

The league will be off until Thursday when the Battlefords North Stars begin a three-game in three-night road trip in Yorkton against the Terriers.
