Chance Longjohn (1g-2a) and Chaz Smedsrud (3a) each had three point nights and the Notre Dame Hounds (4-3-1-1) picked up a convincing 6-1 win over the Flin Flon Bombers Thursday night in Wilcox.

The multi-point Hounds didn’t stop there as Alec Zawatsky continued his hot streak with another goal and an assist (6-6-6-12 since arriving), Zack Kosteniuk scored twice and Nolan Renwick set up a pair.  Ahmed Ally and Riley Perka also scored and Jacob Standen made 28/29 saves.

Dawson McKenzie replied for the Bombers (5-2-0-3).

Zach Goberis scored his league-leading 12th and 13th goals of the season (and league-leading 24th and 25th points) as the Estevan Bruins (9-2-1-0) doubled up the visiting La Ronge Ice Wolves 6-3.

Michael McChesney picked up assists on each of Goberis’ goals, one of which coming short-handed and the other on the powerplay.  Hayden Guilderson (1g-1a), Jake Heerspink, Kaelan Holt, and Tyson Manz rounded out the scoring.  Maxim Sidelnik kicked out 19/22 shots.
