Brandson Hein had another two goals and two assists, retaking top spot in the league scoring race with 16 points (8g-8a) as the Flin Flon Bombers beat Melville 9-1 at the Whitney Forum in the first game of a weekend double dip for the two teams.  It was Hein’s second four-point effort of the season. Caleb Moretz provided a hat trick while Daylan Marchi added two goals and an assist for Flin Flon (4-3-0-0)  Pierce Diamond made 33/34 saves.  The Millionaires (1-4-1-1) look for the split on Saturday.

Justin Ball scored his 7th and 8th goals of the season, while Kenzie Arnold also notched a pair and Carson Albrecht put up three assists in the Melfort Mustangs (4-2-1-0) 7-4 win over La Ronge.  Mitch Zambon scored his team-leading fourth of the season and Dylan Thackery had three helpers for La Ronge (0-5-0-0).

Just three games Saturday night sees Yorkton home to Weyburn, Humboldt going for a sixth straight win in Kindersley, and Melville in Flin Flon for a second straight night.
