Zach Goberis scored his second goal of the night 11:40 into the third period and it stood up as the winner as the Estevan Bruins went into Yorkton and beat the Terriers 4-2 in Tuesday night’s only game.
Goberis would finish off the hat trick, and a four point night with a powerplay goal with 3:01 remaining. Jason Miller also scored and Michael McChesney had two assists. Nic Tallarico finished with 28/30 saves as the Bruins inmproved to 7-2-0-1.
Corwin Stevely and Reid Anderson replied for the Terriers (3-5-2-0).
A pair of games on Wednesday night will see division leaders square off in Humboldt as the Broncos host the Flin Flon Bombers, while the Kindersley Klippers look for a fifth straight win in Melfort.
