Klippers Claim Game Two of Fouillards Cup

While they may be separated by 28 points in the SJHL standings, the Kindersley Klippers have had the Melfort Mustangs number so far this year.

The Klippers knocked off the Mustangs 5-2 Sunday afternoon at the West Central Events Centre to take a 2-0 lead in the Fouillards Cup.

Both Logan Linklater and Tylin Hilbig had a goal and two assists for the Klippers in the win, Kayden Ostrom found the back of the net twice and Logan Falk made 35 saves to help secure Kindersley’s 9th win of the season.

The new week in the SJHL will kick off Monday as the Notre Dame Hounds host the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Face-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
