MacGregor Sinclair

BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS, F

Layne Young got the bulk of the headlines from Battlefords this season and for good reason, joining some rare company with a 100+ point campaign, but almost lost in the shadows was probably the league’s most improved player year-over-year in Stars’ second-year forward MacGregor Sinclair.  The Irma, AB product put up 6-goals and 22-points as a rookie a year ago, and exploded this season, scoring 33-times (third most in the league and only two behind his teammate Young) and 74-points.  He racked up 7-points in four games while the Stars swept Weyburn in the Quarter-Finals.  Sinclair turned some heads this season and has already committed to an NCAA Division I school, inking with Canisius College.
