The 2023-2024 SJHL regular season begins on Friday, September 22nd and the exhibition schedule begins tonight (September 5th).
Throughout the next two and a half weeks ahead of the regular season, SJHL.ca will preview all 12 of teams across the league and head from each team’s Head Coach & General Manager.
The first season preview will be for the Melville Millionaires, who finished 12th in the SJHL standings last season with a 14-36-5-1 record.
However, the bank in Melville will see some change this upcoming season as Doug Johnson takes over the reins as Head Coach and General Manager of the club.
SJHL Director of Media Jeromy Corrigan sat down with the Millionaires’ new bench boss to get his thoughts on returning to the SJHL and what he thinks of his new club heading into the 2023-2024 season.
