The Melfort Mustangs have a new Director of Marketing and Office Administration.

Hana Grace who is originally from the Northwest Territories considers the northeast home after living in Humboldt.

Grace told northeastNOW that although moving is never fun, the excitement of getting to be a part of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) outweighs the heavy boxes.

“I’m excited to work in the SJHL. I’m excited to work in the league that’s done so much for me in the last few years.”

Before working in this position, Grace was a Color Commentary and Social Media Intern with the Humboldt Broncos, play-by-play for Huskies Athletics, Game Day Coordinator for the Saskatoon Valkyries and Social Media Intern for the Saskatchewan Rattlers.

While this is a new role with big shoes to fill, Grace explained that previously working with the Broncos was an advantage.

“It has given me a nice understanding of how the league works and how junior hockey functions,” she said. “So I feel like that’ll bring some good experience to the table as well.”

Not only will Grace be wearing many hats on the job, but she is also extending her hand to all members of the Mustangs organization regardless of what they might need.

“If you need help with anything just give me a call. I’m very open and I’m very willing to help out where I can.”

Grace wants to encourage anyone with questions about the team or simply wanting to say hi to swing by.
