SGEU MVP of the Week: Dawson Karol, Kindersley Klippers

A fan favourite throughout his time in the SJHL, be it when he was in Flin Flon or now in Kindersley, many people are happy to see Dawson doing well. A four-spot highlighted a seven-goal week in a big win at home vs. Yorkton Friday. He has already doubled his career high for goals in a season.
Weekly Stats: 3GP, 6G-1A, 7 PTS

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Shayne Tibbles, Kindersley Klippers

The line of Tibbles between Karol and Zak Anderson was firing on all cylinders this past week, and the centreman of that crew is on fire with a four-game point streak with 10 points over that span. Tibbles now sits fourth in the SJHL in assists.
Weekly Stats: 3GP, 0G-9A, 9 PTS

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Max Chakrabarti, Weyburn Red Wings

Another terrific week for the Red Wings’ dynamic d-man, Max Chakrabarti. Three of his points came against the always defensively stingy Melfort Mustangs, and his regular pairing with veteran Dallen Oxelgren has to be one of the underrated combinations in the league.
Weekly Stats: 3GP, 1G-3A, 4 PTS

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Angelo Zol, Weyburn Red Wings

It’s the third week that a Weyburn goaltender has received an award. Zolly the Goalie continues his spectacular campaign by following up a strong 43-save performance in an overtime loss in Humboldt with a 34-save shutout of the Melville Millionaires Friday. It was the first shutout of his SJHL career.
Weekly Stats: 1-0-1-0, 1.95 GAA, .951 SV%. 1 SO.

IKS Media Rookie of the Week: Vinay Junek, Yorkton Terriers

Every week, there seems to be a new hero for the Yorkton Terriers. This week, the local boy Junek is on a five-game goal-scoring streak stretching back to Oct. 19. His marker in La Ronge Wednesday was the game-winner.
Weekly Stats: 4GP, 4G-2A, 6 PTS

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Dustin Renas, Yorkton Terriers (from Saskatoon, Sask)

Renas has been consistent all year: there have been only two Terrier games out of 15 that Renas does not have a point at the time of writing. His two-goal, four-point effort in La Ronge Wednesday indicates how unstoppable the line of Junek between Renas and captain Jaron Desnoyers has been.
Weekly Stats: 4GP, 4G-3A, 7 PTS
