For the first episode of our 2024-25 SJHL RBC Community Ambassadors, we highlight Lucas Schoenborn of the Battlefords North Stars.

RBC Community Ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to the communities where they play. Each Ambassador is celebrated at an RBC Game Night* and will be honoured by a donation from RBC to a school in their local community.

SJHL fans will be able to vote online for the RBC Community Ambassador of their choice to be honoured as the recipient of the RBC Community Award at the end of the SJHL regular season. This additional honour is accompanied by an additional donation from RBC in the player’s name to a school in their local community.

Lucas’ $1,000 donation from RBC will be going to St. Vital Catholic School in Battleford, SK.

According to the Stars, the Minot, ND native is “always the first one to sign up for any volunteer opportunities in the community. He always shows up with a smile on his face and ready to help out with whatever is thrown his way.”
