REGINA, SK—Dazza Mitchell made 42 stops in his Humboldt debut, but it was not enough as the Flin Flon Bombers edged the Broncos 2-1 on Saturday at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

Logan Keup notched his first career two-goal game, and the Melfort Mustangs bounced back from their first loss in 17 with a 5-1 victory at home vs. the Yorkton Terriers.

The Weyburn Red Wings needed an Ethan Dekay hat trick and a four-goal third period to rally past a scrappy Notre Dame Hounds team 6-4 at Crescent Point Place.

In Kindersley, Cody Jaman needed only eight stops to earn his third career shutout as the Kindersley Klippers outlasted the Nipawin Hawks 2-0. Gage Roberts was brilliant in the Nipawin net with 38 stops in defeat.

Finally, the Battlefords North Stars earned a 3-1 win over the Melville Millionaires, thanks to an Anthony Campbell game-winner and 31 saves from Justen Maric.
