REGINA, SK – Zayden Sadlemyer tied the game on a funny deflection off the stick of Humboldt defenceman Oakley McILwain, and then Kaleb Binner finished it in overtime as the Melfort Mustangs rallied past the Broncos 3-2.

The point did allow the Broncos to slip into seventh place on the win percentage tiebreaker.

The team they passed was the Melville Millionaires, who managed only a single goal on 21 shots in the first period, and then fell 6-3 to the Estevan Bruins.

Nathan Kam was brilliant in the Bruins’ net, as he stopped 32 pucks in the win.

Ewan Rennie led the way offensively for Estevan with a four-point night, while Noah Asmundson also added two goals in the victory.

Russ Demo scored with just over four minutes remaining in the second period, and it held up as the winner as the Kindersley Klippers beat the Nipawin Hawks 2-1.

Brett O’Halloran made 24 stops in the victory.

The Weyburn Red Wings scored a season-high six times in the third period, five times within four minutes, 33 seconds, to rally past the Warman Wolverines 7-5.

The Wings got seven different goal scorers on the night, while Warman’s defenceman Vincent Palmarin scored two within five minutes in the second period.

Weyburn becomes the first team to hit 20 wins on the year.

Finally, in North Battleford, it was the Flin Flon Bombers who got the game-winner from Leo Seitz at the 17:44 mark of the middle frame en route to a 6-3 victory over the North Stars.

Jack Martin and Sam Ward added multi-point outings for the Maroon and White.
