Parker Rey’s first career shutout, and more than enough run support helped the Battlefords North Stars to their 10th consecutive win, a 7-0 win over La Ronge on Saturday night.

Rey made 32 saves, 10 or more in each period.

Carson Reagan scored twice in the third period, and Steven Kesserling had three assists.  Matthew Fletcher (1g-1a), Austin Becker (1g-1a), Kaden Boser, Brett Gammer and Elijah Loon-Stewardson rounded out the scoring for the Stars (17-1-0-0).

The Ice Wolves (7-11-2-0) went winless on their three game road swing.

The Weyburn Red Wings picked up their second straight 2-1 win over the Estevan Bruins, this time in overtime, as Ben Hiltz scored his second goal of the night, and 8th of the season, 2:18 into overtime.

Shots were 37-22 in favour of the Bruins (4-8-2-1), but Noah Decottignies had his second stellar performance in as many nights, making 36/37 saves in goal for the Wings (7-8-0-1).

Devan Harrison scored his first goal of the season for Estevan.

The Flin Flon Bombers took over top spot in the Sherwood Division after a 3-2 win in Kindersley.

That’s five straight wins for the Bombers (12-3-2-0), who also have points in seven straight (5-0-2-0).

Donavan Houle-Villeneuve scored his 17th of the season.  Mason Kaspick scored his fourth goal and fifth point in his last three games, and Reid Robertson scored the winner in the third.  Jacob Delorme made 30/32 saves.

Austin Nault and Caden Benson replied for the Klippers (7-9-1-0) and Matthew Pesenti made 39/42 saves.

The Bombers are first in the Sherwood due to their win and Melfort’s loss in Nipawin.

The Hawks (10-6-0-0) scored two third period goals to come from behind and beat the Mustangs (11-4-2-1)  2-1.

Zach Cox and Jake Tremblay scored for Nipawin, after Tyson Meyers opened the scoring for Melfort in period two.

Ross Hawryluk made 23/24 saves to pick up the win for the Hawks, while Shawn Parkinson made 28/30 saves at the other end.

Melville’s Jake Spak opened the scoring just 1:28 into the Millionaires’ home game against Humboldt, but that was it for their offense, as the Broncos scored the next four in a 4-1 road victory.

Karter McNarland had two goals and an assist, and the 16-year-old has 5-goals and 15-points through his first 16-games.  Former Millionaires Tristan Shewchuk (1g-2a) and Logan Foster (1g-1a) had big games against their old clubs.  Brendan Forman made 27/28 saves in goal for the Broncos (9-5-1-1).

Scott Bird made 29/33 saves in goal for the Millionaires (4-8-2-2).
