Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League

SJHL, Prairie Proud announce official partnership

Today, we are excited to announce a new partnership between the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and Prairie Proud, a premium prairies inspired clothing brand.

“This partnership is special for many reasons but we want to highlight three specifically. First of all, hockey has long been an integral part of the Saskatchewan identity. The favourite winter pastime unites towns to cheer on their local heroes while creating memories that last a lifetime.

Secondly, we share a passion for community engagement with SJHL. The league’s twelve teams are deeply rooted within rural communities across the province bringing people together, creating vibrant atmospheres, fundraising for local causes, and shaping young players to be a positive influence on & off the ice.

Thirdly, as someone who grew up in a rural community I have witnessed firsthand the economic impact the league has on many small cities across the province. For many of these communities, the rink is a central gathering place drawing crowds from neighboring towns which benefit local shops, services, hotels, and restaurants. These small businesses are the lifeblood of rural communities and we value the positive impact the league creates within each.

The pieces shown are not for sale but rather will be worn by league administrators, coaches, and players to highlight Prairie Proud’s support of the SJHL. But you never know, if you follow the SJHL on social media, you might be able to win a limited edition piece!
