1-NIPAWIN HAWKS (35-13-1-2) 1st last week
Masters of the one goal game, finally lost one to the North Stars on Sunday.
2-KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS (31-12-3-2) 2nd last week
Four straight wins, but the standings remain tight and there are plenty of road games down the stretch.
3-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (28-13-5-4) 3rd last week
Stars keeping pace with the Klippers, but also have a ton of road games to close out the schedule.
4-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS (31-16-2-1) 4th last week
Three wins last week and seven straight wins overall have them two points out of the two seed and a division title.
5-MELFORT MUSTANGS (30-15-4-0) 9th last week
The contenders are all winning on a regular basis. Mustangs have won four straight but having difficulty making up ground.
6-ESTEVAN BRUINS (27-21-2-1) 6th last week
They’ve won nine of ten and are running away with a division that didn’t look winnable a month ago.
7-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (30-16-1-2) 2nd last week
Recent struggles against the other top teams they are trying to track down may have doomed their hopes for first overall.
8-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (21-19-5-4) 9th last week
They’ve got a real shot at home ice advantage in the Survivor Series.
9-YORKTON TERRIERS (25-24-1-0) 7th last week
Only five defensemen and no Jared Legien this past weekend, so the results were predictable; but the effort was impressive.
10-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES (15-27-4-3) 10th last week
Winless in four games, but the news isn’t all bad because…
11-WEYBURN RED WINGS (15-29-4-1) 11th last week
…the Red Wings are winless in five.
