The Yorkton Terriers are proud to announce that veteran defenceman Harrison Aldridge has committed to continue his hockey and academic career at MacEwan University in Edmonton.

A steady presence on the Terriers blue line, Aldridge wrapped up his final junior season in 2024-25 with 3 goals and 20 assists in 48 games. His poise, vision, and leadership made him a cornerstone of the Terriers’ defensive unit throughout the year.

Aldridge reflected on his time in Yorkton with pride and appreciation:

“My time with the Yorkton Terriers was huge for my development as a player and a person. I’m really grateful for the teammates, coaches, and billets that supported me. It’s a place I’ll always remember and love.”

As he turns the page to the next chapter, Aldridge is looking ahead with determination:

“I’m super excited to start this next chapter at MacEwan. It’s a great opportunity to keep growing my game and take on new challenges. I can’t wait to get to work and be part of the program.”

Terriers Head Coach Emery Olauson, who coached Aldridge for three seasons dating back to their time in the KIJHL, spoke highly of his commitment and growth:

“I am very proud of Harrison as he is a 3-year player with me, beginning in the KIJHL and ending here in Yorkton. He continued to get better every day, is an exceptional teammate and a very strong student. I am excited to see Harry’s continued progression as a player and young man.”

The Terriers organization congratulates Harrison on this exciting opportunity and thanks him for his contributions on and off the ice. Best of luck at MacEwan, Harry
