The Yorkton Terriers organization is proud to announce that goaltender Ethan Farrow has committed to Red Deer Polytechnic, where he will continue his hockey career with the Kings.

Farrow joined the Terriers early in the 2023-24 season, posting a 17-15 record. This season, he delivered an impressive 19-8-2 record, along with two victories in the first-round series against the Melville Millionaires.

Terriers Head Coach and GM Emery Olauson praised Farrow’s commitment.

“Ethan is an unbelievable teammate, a reliable competitor, and just an all-around great person,” said Olauson. “Red Deer is lucky to add a player like Ethan, and he will certainly help them stay atop the ACAC. Congrats to Ethan and to Red Deer.”

Farrow spoke about his decision to join Red Deer.

“It’s a great winning culture and a great dressing room,” said Farrow. “It’s also a fantastic school to further my education.”

Reflecting on his development, Farrow credited Terriers Goaltending Coach Zach Rakochy for his progress.

“Working with Retro every week and being in a competitive environment where guys are pushed to improve has definitely helped develop my game,” said Farrow. “I’ve also made friendships in this dressing room that will last a lifetime.”

Next season, Farrow will reunite with former Terriers teammates Tyson Perkins and Clay Sleeva at Red Deer.
