The La Ronge Ice Wolves made it five straight wins on Thursday, while moving into third spot in the Sherwood Division with a 4-2 home ice win over Notre Dame.

Liam McGarva was solid in net once again, making 33/35 saves.  Booker Chacalias scored twice while Jake Gudjonson and Max Kleiner added singles for the Ice Wolves (12-11-2-0).

The Hounds (10-10-2-1) led 2-1 late in the first period when Jared Hamm (1g-1a) and Jayce Nikbahkt scored back to back 4:15 apart, but that was it for their scoring.  Logan Dyck made 32/36 saves.

Alec Malo had a goal, and an assist, and the winner in the shootout as the Flin Flon Bombers outlasted the Humboldt Broncos 6-5 (SO).

Cole Rafuse added a pair of goals, with Matt Raymond and Tristan Lemyre notching the others for the Bombers (14-5-3-0), who move back into a tie for the Sherwood Division lead with Melfort, second place overall in the league behind Battlefords.

Bryson Cecconi led the Broncos (12-8-2-2) with two goals and an assist, with Karter McNarland had three helpers.  Tristan Shewchuk (1g-1a), Nicksha Eric and Logan Kurki rounded out the scoring.
