Flin Flon Bombers 4 @ Melville Millionaires 2
The Bombers stretched their winning streak to six games, and their third straight over the Millionaires in a 4-2 victory on Tuesday night.
Zak Smith (4), Kylynn Olafson (1), Cole Vardy (5), and Jaeden Mercier (5) (EN) netted the goals for the Bombers, while Jake Spak (3) and Johnathan Krahn (4) (PP) picked up the pair for the Millionaires.
Cal Shell stopped 34 of 36 for his 7th win of the season.
Jared Thompson backstopped for the Mills, stooping 39/42.
The Bombers picked up their 9th victory in their past 10 games with the win.
Yorkton Terriers 2 vs Weyburn Red Wings 1
Another one-goal game for the Yorkton Terriers, their 8th time out of 12 games this year that has been decided by the lone marker.
Dazza Mitchel dazzled for the Red Wings, stopping 44 of 46 shots faced. However, it wasn’t enough as Kael DePape picked up the win, allowing just one goal on 20 shots.
Ethan Whillans (1) scored in the second period for a Red Wings 1-0 lead.
The Terriers answered back with two in the third period. Kishaun Gervais (5) tied the game, while Enrique Fontes (2) picked up the game winner.

Estevan Bruins 3 vs Flin Flon Bombers 1
The Estevan Bruins finally put a stop to the Bombers’ winning streak with a 3-1 victory on home ice.
Boston Bilous and Cal Shell were both busy between the pipes for the Bruins and the Bombers, respectively. Bilous turned aside 41 of 42 for his fifth win of the year. Meanwhile, Cal Shell faced 30 shots, stopping 28 in just his third loss in 10 games.
Jaxon Martens (4) got the Bombers out to a 1-0 lead in the middle frame.
Estevan countered with three straight goals in the third by Caelan Fitzpatrick (6) (SH), Eric Houk (1), and Mikol Sartor (2) (EN).
Humboldt Broncos 3 (SO) vs La Ronge Ice Wolves 2
The Broncos and Ice Wolves needed a shootout to decide a winner in the first meeting of the season between the two clubs.
The Broncos opened the scoring with two quick powerplay goals by Cage Newans (3) (PP) and Logan Kurki (4) (PP) to take a 2-0 lead.
Brandon Della Paolera (4) cut the lead in half late in the first and Ryley Morgan (2) tied it up 2-2 in the dying minutes of the game.
In the shootout, both teams first three shooters were denied. Cage Newans finally scored for the Broncos as their fourth shooter, and Rayce Ramsay turned aside Holden Knights for his league-leading eighth win of the season.
Xavier Cannon stopped 39 of 41 for the Ice Wolves, while Ramsay turned aside 28/30.
Thursday, October 21st will feature one game as the La Ronge Ice Wolves travel south to take on the Estevan Bruins.
