Ice Wolves’ Chirico commits to Wentworth NCAA DivIII

The La Ronge Ice Wolves are thrilled to announce that graduating goaltender Topher Chirico has committed to the Wentworth Institute of Technology (NCAA Division III) for the 2024-25 campaign. 

“I chose Wentworth for its robust options related to business studies and opportunities post-graduation,” said Chirico. “It also has a hockey program with solid core values and a culture that aligns with me well.” 

The Overland Park, KS product spent the last two seasons with La Ronge. Chirico was a workhorse with the Ice Wolves during the 2023-24 season, facing over 1,700 shots in 45 games.

“La Ronge was such an amazing place to play, such a great community and we had a good group of guys on the team,” said Chirico. “I will always cherish my time in La Ronge.”

Chirico is the third member of the 2023-24 Ice Wolves to commit to a post-secondary institution for the upcoming season. I
