BOMBERS WIN FIFTH STRAIGHT THURSDAY

By Craig Stein

ROBIDOUX, REITMEIER LEAD THE WAY

Greyson Reitmeier scored three times, Jason Lavallee had two goals and an assist, and Zac Robidoux made 25 saves for his third shutout this season, as the Flin Flon Bombers blanked the visiting Kindersley Klippers 6-0 on Thursday night.

Joseph Leonidas added a goal and an assist as the Bombers (14-7-2-2) pumped 65 shots on Kindersley goalie Nick Trenciansky.

Robidoux now has back to back shutouts, eight in his SJHL career (1.5 seasons), and his three tie him for the league lead this season.

The Klippers (10-17-1-0) opened their three game trip with a 1-0 win in Nipawin on Tuesday, but managed just three goals total in those three games, dropping the final two.  They’ll return home to face Notre Dame on Saturday, while the Bombers are right back on home ice on Friday, hosting Humboldt.
