Ex-Bomber Ingram earns first NHL win

Ex-Flin Flon Bombers’ goaltender Connor Ingram earned his first National Hockey League win last Sunday.

Ingram, 24, backstopped his Nashville Predators to a 5-2 road win at the Minnesota Wild, making 33 stops in the process.

A native of Saskatoon, Ingram made two appearances for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Bombers in the 2013-14 campaign as an affiliate player while a member of the Prince Alberta Mintos AAA of the Saskatchewan U18 league.

Ingram went on from the Mintos and Bombers to a long Western Hockey League career with the Kamloops Blazers, an appearance at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, and various professional stops along the way to the Predators organization.

Everyone at the SJHL would like to congratulate Ingram on the achievement, and best wishes for many more.
