Antonio Di Paolo Receives RBC Community Award

By SJHL

RBC and the SJHL are pleased to announce La Ronge Ice Wolves defencemen Antonio Di Paolo as the recipient of the 2018-2019 RBC Community Award.

At the start of the season, each SJHL team selected one player who best exemplifies making a positive difference in their community – these 12 players were named as RBC Community Ambassadors for their outstanding citizenship and sportsmanship both on and off the ice and a commitment to volunteerism.  Each Ambassador earned a donation to support their local community from RBC.

Antonio Di Paolo was selected as the league’s top ambassador for his continuous community involvement in La Ronge and the surrounding communities, especially at a local elementary school where he spends numerous hours assisting with reading and physical activity programs. The Northern Town of La Ronge will receive an additional donation from RBC on behalf of Antonio.

Congratulations Antonio and thank you to all SJHL players who make a positive impact in the community.  RBC is proud to support and recognize the outstanding work of all SJHL teams who enhance the communities they serve.
