The long weekend in the SJHL kicked off Friday night with four games on the docket.
The evening was highlighted by a battle between the top two teams in the league as the Flin Flon Bombers hosted the Battlefords North Stars.
It was a back-and-forth affair, similar to their first two meetings of the year, but in the end, it was the Bombers who would earn a 5-3 win.
