Bombers Blank Terriers to Kick Start Road Trip

The Flin Flon Bombers kicked off their four game in five night road trip on a winning note Tuesday night in Yorkton as they earned a 5-0 win over the Terriers.

Leading the way for the Bombers was Jacob Vockler who opened the scoring in the dying moments of the opening frame and added a pair of assists.

Alexi Sylvestre also continued his hot start to the season netting a pair in the win and Harmon Laser-Hume made 35 saves for his first shutout of the season.

The Bombers will continue their road trip Wednesday night when they head to Wilcox to take on the Notre Dame Hounds for the 3rd time in less than a week.

The Wednesday night schedule also features the Humboldt Broncos playing host to the Weyburn Red Wings with puck drop at the EPA at 7pm.
