The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt are excited to announce that defensemen Orin Olson has committed to the Briercrest Clippers men’s hockey team for the upcoming season. Olson will continue both his academic and athletic pursuits at Briercrest College, competing in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC).

Olson, from Chaplin, SK, suited up for the Broncos during the 2024–25 season, bringing grit, character, and a strong work ethic to the lineup.

“I’m excited for Orin to have the opportunity to play college hockey so close to home,” said Broncos Head Coach and GM Brayden Klimosko. “Briercrest is a great program, and they’re getting not only a great player but a great individual. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him.”

Orin will now join the Briercrest Clippers, a respected ACAC program located in Caronport, Saskatchewan, known for combining elite athletics with a strong academic and faith-based foundation.

The Humboldt Broncos organization and the City of Humboldt congratulates Orin on his commitment and wishes him all the best as he begins this exciting next chapter with the Clippers!
