Estevan Bruins Head Coach and General Manager Jason Tatarnic has recorded his 500th win at the hemp of a Junior A franchise.

Prior to joining the Bruins as a Head Coach & General Manager, Tatarnic had compiled a 470-172-14-16 record and was considered one of the top coaches in the country. Under his leadership and guidance, his teams have won league championships, regional championships and as a General Manager, Tatarnic built a national championship team in 2017-2018 with the Chilliwack Chiefs. Tatarnic also has experience on the international stage as the Head Coach of Team Atlantic at the World U-17 Championships.

Throughout the current 2021-2022 season, The Estevan Bruins currently stand at 35 Games played with 25 wins and 7 losses for a total of 53 points. Currently, the Bruins have the least number of losses in comparison to any team in the league. The win came Jan. 5, 2022 vs. the Kindersley Klippers.

With half of the Hockey season underway, Jason is working hard to build The Estevan Bruins into a team that will bring more wins, titles and glory to the SJHL. With a record like that, we look forward to seeing what he will do for the remainder of 2022.
