Bruins Win 3rd Straight as Part of Busy Saturday

The week wrapped up in the SJHL with another four games on the schedule Saturday night, with three of the games being re-matches from Friday.

This included the Estevan Bruins completing the sweep of their three game in four night road trip up North as they knocked off the Ice Wolves 4-3.

Notre Dame 4 Melville 5 (No Highlights due to no FloHockey broadcast in Lumsden)

Despite trailing after 40 minutes of play, the Melville Millionaires came out and scored three goals in the 3rd period to get some revenge on the Notre Dame Hounds earning a 5-4 win in Lumsden. Luc Bydal led the way for the Millionaires scoring a pair of goals, including the game winner. Melville will be back on the ice Tuesday when they visit the Nipawin Hawks. Notre Dame returns to the Duncan McNeil Arena on Wednesday as they host the Yorkton Terriers.

Nipawin 3 Humboldt 5 

The league will be off until Tuesday when the new week begins as the Nipawin Hawks host the Melville Millionaires.
