The Humboldt Broncos have acquired the rights to 2002 born forward Connor Casparie from the Grande Prairie Storm in exchange for a PDF.

In 2019/20, Casparie suited up for the Nanaimo Buccaneers of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League. He scored eleven goals and added eleven assists in to go along with one hundred and seventy-two penalty minutes in forty-five games. The following year Casparie moved up to “Junior A”, albeit in the AJHL with the Storm. He was held off the scoresheet in eleven appearances with Grande Prairie and added seventy-one penalty minutes before the season was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Broncos see a bright future for the Powell River, BC native in the green and gold and hope for Connor to increase his offensive production and continue to play his tough in-your-face game.

The Broncos play on the road in Melfort Friday night, and back home at the Elgar Peterson arena Saturday, look for Casparie to be suited up Saturday night.
