Friday Night Recap – Feb 24th

It was a busy Friday night across the SJHL with a total of five games on the ice. This included the Nipawin Hawks getting an important two points in their chase to clinch a playoff spot and the Battlefords North Stars locked down both the Global Ag Risk Division and 1st place in the SJHL for the regular season. Highlights from all five games can be found below.

Weyburn 3 Flin Flon 4 (Highlights Unavailable)

The Flin Flon Bombers earned a big two points at home Friday night as they knocked off the Weyburn Red Wings 4-3. Zach Cain scored the game winner near the midway point of the 3rd period after the Red Wings erased a 3-0 deficit. The two clubs will meet again Saturday night at the Whitney Forum.

The week will wrap up on Saturday with a full schedule of 6 games as all 12 teams take to the ice.
