The Melville Millionaires scored twice in the third period to come from behind and edge the Humboldt Broncos 2-1 on the road Friday night.

Bryson Cecconi opened the scoring for Humboldt early in the third period after the two teams were scoreless through 40 minutes.  Jaden Shewchuk tied things up 3:33 later, and Aidan Steinke notched the winner on the powerplay with 4:10 left in regulation.

Colby Entz made 30/31 saves in goal for the Millionaires (4-12-2-2), while Dane Dow turned away 28/30 at the other end for the Broncos (12-6-2-0).

The Weyburn Red Wings were out-shot heavily by the Kindersley Klippers, but Riley Lamb was perfect, stopping all 34 shots he faced for his second shutout this season, and the Wings (6-10-2-0) blanked the visiting Klippers 2-0.

Carson Scheschuk opened the scoring in the first period and Justin Plett provided some breathing room in the second, as Weyburn ended a 10-game winless streak.

Zach Johnson made 20/22 saves in goal for the Klippers (12-5-1-0), who continue on to Estevan Saturday.

The Yorkton Terriers started a two game swing in La Ronge with a 5-3 win over the Ice Wolves.

Cole Keenleyside scored twice to lead the Terriers (9-7-1-0), while Aiden Bulych and Chantz Petruic each added a goal and an assist, and Branden Klatt rounded out the scoring with his 8th of the season.  Ryan Ouelette made 27/30.

Zach Bannister (2g-1a) and Mitch Zambon (1g-2a) were each in on all three goals for the Ice Wolves (6-14-0-0).

The two teams battle again in a Saturday matinee at 2:00.

The Estevan Bruins scored three times in the first period, and three more in the third as they picked up a 6-4 win over the Battlefords North Stars.

Will Koop led the offensive outburst with two goals and two assists, and Bryce Platt added a goal and a pair of helpers.  Michael McChesney (1g-1a), TJ Irey and Tanner Manz also scored for the Bruins (9-10-0-0), and Grant Boldt made 25/29 saves.

Owen Lamb scored twice for the North Stars (9-6-1-2), with Quinton Loon-Stewardson (1g-1a) and Logan Spence adding singles.  The Stars are in Weyburn on Saturday.
