FLIN FLON, MB – Chase Friedt-Mohr led the way with a goal and assist, and Rhett Hamilton notched his second game-winner in as many games as the Melfort Mustangs downed the Flin Flon Bombers 4-1 in Game 2 Saturday night.
James Venne made 42 saves and was terrific once again in net for the Mustangs, and Melfort grabbed a 2-0 lead in the Canalta Cup Final.
Justin Lies had Flin Flon’s only response, while Danton Cox and Logan Belton added markers for the visitors.
