Notre Dame Hounds forward Brady Clayton has committed to Finlandia University of the NCAA Division III Northern Collegiate Hockey Association for the 2021-2022 season, the club announced Friday.
Clayton, 20, split his two-year Saskatchewan Junior Hockey career between the Hounds and the Melfort Mustangs, and led the Lloydminster Bobcats U18s in scoring in his final minor hockey campaign in 2018-19.
The Marwayne, AB native was acquired by Notre Dame at the 2020 SJHL trade deadline – Jan. 10, 2020 – in exchange for a player development fee.
Clayton joins fellow Hound Max Messier at Finlandia in Hancock, MI, as he transferred from Concordia University Wisconsin this past off-season. He is the 10th Notre Dame player this off-season to commit to a post-secondary hockey program.
