Hounds Finish Season on Winning Note

The 22/23 SJHL regular season wrapped up Tuesday night in Wilcox as the Notre Dame Hounds knocked off the Humboldt Broncos.

Antoine Lavigne and Antoine St.Onge each had four points for the Hounds in the win as Notre Dame finished the year with a 22-28-4-2 record and missed the playoffs by five points.

For Humboldt, most of their regulars were not in the line-up Tuesday night as they gear up for their first round playoff series against the Nipawin Hawks. In total, the Broncos had 11 AP’s in the line-up against the Hounds.

With the regular season now in the books, the focus now shifts to the 2023 SJHL Playoffs presented by UPL which begins on Friday night with all four series beginning.

Make sure to tune in to the playoff preview show Thursday at 1pm across the SJHL social media platforms for a preview of all four series and the unveiling of the brand new Canterra Seeds Cup.
