REGINA, SK – Anthony Campbell and Finlay Klippenstein both led the way with a pair of goals each Thursday as the Battlefords North Stars eliminated the Kindersley Klippers from playoff contention with an 8-5 win in Kindersley.

Pryce Thiessen scored twice and added a helper for the Klippers, while North Stars’ rookie Carter Geysen also had three assists.

Spencer Michnik made 38 saves in the win, which for the evening slipped Battlefords into second place, two points ahead of idle Yorkton.

Mattias Radke stopped 21 shots in defeat.

The final playoff spot will now come down to a race to the finish between the Estevan Bruins and Humboldt Broncos.
